The Kiwanis Club of the Virginia Beach-Combers was set up primarily as a "Golden Age Club" for the senior members of our community, but everyone is welcome to join.  Today our Club has twenty four members and we're striving to grow.  We are unified in the belief that children benefit from the efforts of a group of caring, involved volunteers.  However, our members may volunteer for as much or as little as they desire.  Some just come for the weekly fellowship.

Those who wish, may volunteer at the following events:

Delivering "Meals on Wheels"
Yearly Christmas Bell Ringers for the "Salvation Army"

Serving ice cream at the "Easton Preschool's"  Special Olympics Fun Day

Our Club also sponsors the Kiwanis Terrific Kids Program at "W.T. Cooke Elementary School"        and enjoys helping the new children find their class rooms on the opening day of school

We meet every Wednesday morning around 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for coffee, calories and conversation.  Our meetings start at 10:00 AM and end promptly at 11:00 AM.  Join us at the: Scott Memorial Methodist Church, 409 First Colonial Road, Virginia Beach, VA  23454-4606.  The first few minutes are club business and then we finish with an interesting speaker.

If you wish to join us, or have any questions, please contact:
